Remaining in entirely lovely condition for all of her 124 years, this antique Ruby and Diamond engagement ring is fully hallmarked for the year 1900 with a London mark for 18ct Gold. In the style which was oft seen at the time and took its inspiration from the Arts and Crafts movement, with hand carved shoulders in a leafesque design, the gems are quite glorious and superb quality examples. The Rubies are that ravishing bright and glittery red from the old mines, and the hand cut Diamonds too are nicely white and scintillating (just look at our magnified images). A wonderful engagement ring choice for individuality and ethicality, her romantic beauty surpasses imagination.
The ring size is a 'P' or '7.5' as is but could easily be altered to suit.
